Mrs. Jocy is the Director at Treehouse Learning Center, bringing 17 years of experience
working with children of all ages — from Infants and Toddlers to Preschool and Pre-K.
A Massachusetts native, she was adopted at three years old and grew up right here in
the community she now serves. At twelve, her family moved to Arroyo, Puerto Rico, where
she spent two formative years immersed in the language and culture — an experience that
shaped her deep commitment to bilingual education.
After returning to Massachusetts, she earned her Early Childhood Education degree from
Lynn Vocational Technical Institute, followed by her Associate Degree from North Shore
Community College and her CDA in Preschool. She is bilingual in English and Spanish
and First Aid & CPR certified.
She loves all seasons of New England — from long summer days to cold winter nights outdoors.
She has a six-year-old son, Lucas, and comes from a big family — 8 biological & 4 adopted siblings!
At 12, she lived in Arroyo, Puerto Rico for two years — where she learned the language and culture.
Her favorites: coffee (hot or iced!), chicken wings, chocolate milk, and apple juice.
Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and celebrated. When kids have consistent routines and adults who truly believe in them, there's nothing they can't accomplish — and being that person for each child, every single day, is Mrs. Jocy's greatest privilege.
